Falls Creek Village is located high in the Alpine National Park in north-eastern Victoria. Sitting at an altitude of between 1,210 and 1,830 metres, Falls Creek boasts Australia’s only ski in / ski out village, with its highest lifted point at 1,780 metres.
Falls Creek is located 350km’s by road from Melbourne, with the nearest town Mount Beauty only 30km’s away. The closest regional airport is located in Albury at 110km’s away, with a regular coach service to Falls Creek.
Falls Creek is beginner and intermediate friendly with almost 80% of the skiable terrain dedicated to this type of skiing and snowboarding.
Falls Creek also serves as a summer base to explore the Alpine National Park surrounding the resort and is accessible by the Bogong High Plains Road from Mount Beauty all year round.
Huski Apartments is located in the heart of Falls Creek Village and features 14 self-contained apartments ranging in size from studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and a 4 bedroom split-level penthouse, with lift access to all floors. Every apartment has heated marble floors, full kitchens, a flat-screen TV, DVD, CD player, laundry facilities, drying cupboards and free wireless Internet. After a hard day on the slopes relax in your own private hot tub on the balcony and breathe the Alpine air (except studio apartments & 3 bed ground floor).
During the winter season (June-Sept) breakfast is included daily for each person in the Three Blue Ducks café. The breakfast is cooked to order off the menu and includes a hot beverage or a freshly squeezed juice.
The Three Blue Ducks Café is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring gourmet cuisine prepared by Darren Robertson and Mark LaBrooy, who were formerly chefs at Tetsuya’s in Sydney. The bar features a wide range of local wines and craft beers and the baristas serve the best single origin roasted coffee on the mountain!
